Based on Bunny's female Rabbit design which is really cool.
I just had to draw Rabbit as well.
I use too many textures ..

Wow. Kinda funny looking at that as the same character huh? I mean, gorgeous design and everything, but I think I'm probably gonna need to see Bunny in that costume before I can fully see it as Rabbit, you know?

Well we don't really know yet how the new regendered Rabbit will look like, but Bunny sounded pretty excited, so I believe it will be gorgeous.
I don't really have a problem with seeing her as Rabbit either. Rabbit is Rabbit, a differenet gender (if robots even have such things...) or more feminine clothes won't change Rabbit's quirkyness and whole attitude. C:
I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it goes. I have faith in Bunny that she will pull it off nicely.

I have full faith in Bunny that the final thing's gonna look amazing. And I don't have any problem with the gender change at all. In fact I think it's a really good idea. Let's face it. Rabbit's pretty feminine already. I'm just saying, as is, I'm having a little problem seeing all Rabbits quirks and glitches and hearing that cute little accent with this design. I have full faith that all my doubts will disappear in time, especially when she starts performing like that, but right now, I can't help seeing it as a different character....

Not at all. I guess fem!rabbit currently is still in this state where she is seen as 'genderbent' version, instead of the actual version of Rabbit. But give it some time and she won't be called fem!rabbit anymore but only Rabbit.
It's a change, and one does need to get used to changes immediately.
Like back then, when The Jon left, I couldn't imagine SPG without him, and while I still miss him sometimes, I cannot imagine SPG without Hatchy anymore. C:

Yeah, I suppose that does have something to do with it. It's really nothing to do wit the gender, just the radical design change. I only joined the fandom a few months ago. Rabbit was literally the first thing I saw. My friend told me to search for Brass Goggles and that pretty, weird little face was what made me realise that I was probably going to like it. And it's just a little hard to invision that weird, pretty little face with this new design. But I agree that in time, it will probably grow on me.
I never knew the Jon really. To be honest, he kinda creeped me out. XD

Oh, Brass Goggles was the first thing I saw of SPG too!
Funny enough, Rabbit's facial expressions were what made me fall in love with it, and I loved Rabbit from the very first moment on. xD
Yeah it'll be hard, but looking back on all the make up changes Bunny made... we'll just have to live with constant changing when it comes to Rabbit I guess. xD

I just asked someone else if there were any pictures of the finished design (before I started this conversation) and she sent me a few pics that resemble Rabbit's character a lot more. I'm starting to see it a bit more. ^_^
I can handle odd. Odd is fine. I found out about this band after I asked my Best friend if he liked any normal bands and this was as close as he could get. So I have NO issues with odd. XD But...That character just gave me the shivers. I admire the actor. I've honestly never seen a performer move like he did. It was amazing. He looked like an actual anamatronic the way he glided around. But...there was just something about that makeup. It's just...I don't know. Did not take to him.

Ahah oh my god. xD If THAT'S what he calls 'normal' ... Okay, they're not really weird, but they aren't your usual type of band either, I think.
Oh god yes, Jon's moves were amazing, he pulled the robot thing off really well! Hatchy still needs to work on it, or, well Sam does, but he's doing fine. One can just blame it on Hatchy's past, being locked away for so long, so he got a bit rusty in his movements.
I think the video to Honeybee shows the robotic moves best. I seriously started to doubt they were human at the end.
And yeah, I think Jon wasn't as interested in doing the make-up and stuff.... but compared to Rabbit's make up, every other make up is just .... dull?

Yeah. I know. We were talking about geeky stuff and I wasn't really into it, so I tried to swerve the conversation onto music, since he we don't talk about it that much. I asked if he actually liked any normal bands and he asked if Steam Powered Giraffe counted with which I answered with "What the hell is that"
A little too well even. I love Hatchworth. I really really do. He's probably my favourite of the trio actually. He's like a mixture of a little brother and an elderly uncle. It's just adorable...Plus that guy can freaking sing.

There was a bouncing Puggy head and singing automatons. Well it was very fascinating to say the least. I sent the song to my friend but forget about it for the rest of the day, but she had somewhat downloaded the song and we listened to it again the next day.
Aaand that was that.
I don't have a favorite. It used to be Rabbit, but I've come to like The Spine a lot lately too, because he's just so sarcastic. And you cannot NOT love Hatchy.

My favourite seems to change from week to week. First it was Rabbit cause he was he first one I saw, then it was The Spine cause GUH! then it was Rabbit again cause I read a few fanfics and then it was Hatchy because AWWW. Then it repeated itself.
