I usually had him named "Am horse!" because it's an inside joke, but I decided he should have a less silly name this time...Any suggestions? Hmm... I'll probably come up with something later.
EDIT: War it is.
Drawing horses is.. so hard... x_____x I seriously must have drawn this over 5 times within the last week. This was as good as I could get it... Sorry...
Anyway, bio.
War (Male Rapidash, jolly nature)
When War was a ponyta, Shaiming adored and spoiled him at all times... Ponyta is Shaiming's favorite pokemon species, as he thinks it is adorable for some reason. He became bored after War evolved, and now War is usually only used for transportation when Shaiming is feeling too lazy to walk. Shaiming doesn't use War for battle too often. He still has a soft spot for War but for the most part, Shaiming feels bored around him and War is honestly bored with his trainer, anyway.
Out of Shaiming's main team, War gets along best with YanLun the typhlosion, as they are both rarely used for battle and don't have any specific role in the team. They like to hang out lazily together and gossip about how lame their trainer is.
War is obedient to his trainer, only because being constantly bored, he has nothing better to do.

I'm guessing the saddle extinguishes the flames along the entire backside, because they don't poke out on the rear end.

Rapidash do not have flame on their backs, only mane and tail.

I don't mean to be rude, but then if your thesis is correct, then how would you explain what is shown in the official artwork and physical description of Rapidash here [link] (Pok%C3%A9mon)? You'll wanna look CLOSELY. When I say Rapidash DOES have flames along the back, look at this site, and you'll know that this time, I'm not wrong.

War actually is the 2nd horse of the Apocalypse. She is a beautiful ash gray horse with a flaming mane, flaming feet, and a flaming tail, and her eyes are red~
