Description A tutorial for you!!

What this tutorial covers (it uses Photoshop but some of the things are totally transferable to programs like Gimp or OC, if you do a little bit of looking):

-how to clean up your comic page and make it ready for editing
-how to correctly put your font into a comic page, along with tips on what font to choose and how to do proper speech bubbles.

It's huge for just those two things, I know. But it's a lot of steps!

And my 'screengrab' program was only set to 'current screen only' which makes me sad, as some of the things I wanted used the full screen... but I only realized this after I was done, and I was NOT going back and screen-grabbing another full comic page.

Anywho, hope this is helpful to... SOMEONE.

this tutorial (c) me 2008.

Thanks a bunch for the tutorial! I don't use Photoshop but it was still helpful.

Useful. My digital illustration class taught nothing about creating speech bubbles.

i love it, and if i ever were to make a comic... honestly, i'd just write it out and then give it to you to work your magic on. CUZ YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR LIFE. keehee.

It's true. I don't have enough time to buy food / eat it, but I still get bored. ;___;

Heh, how long did it take you to do this tutorial, as I'm realizing that mine is gonna be really, really long.

Funny that we'd BOTH think of doing this.

Hee. :3 All the screencaps were over the course of doing one of my comic pages over winter break (you see all the examples are from like page 6 or something) which didn't take THAT much longer, so like an hour or two for screencaps... then half an hour to put it all together, maybe an hour. :3 I've had it for forever but was worried that it would be too big, so I didn't put it up on dA 'til now...

But you could just make your's into like 'arts.'
