Description
Well, I got a relatively good grade with this project for Art class I took during the summer session. I came up with the idea based on the positive and negative parts of my personality, symbolized by the colors orange and blue respectively. From there I though of things that I can identify myself based on the central idea.

The masks explain the different emotions I use to show or hide the true ones from others.

The swirling thing initially started out as a brain with a swirl around it but I slowly changed into a hurricane symbol engulfing the brain. It represents the ongoing internal struggles and fights I have with myself as many of you are aware.

The two heads on one body, which are coming together rather than splitting, symbolizes the two sides of myself personality becoming one and how it leads to conflict.

The golden cross and clawed hand gripping the heart are more from my religious aspects. I will not go into full details on that unless anyone is curious.

Truth be told, I have no idea why I added in the mouths when I was doing this I guess I wanted something to keep with the surreal nature

You don't see this in the photo but I put this 9x12 piece on a larger brown paper to add to the portrait appearance. I may get this framed BTW the title of this piece is what I officially named it and not just for the dA submission.
