Description This is a piece i just did for a client to be used in his website. The subject matter was particularly tedious to draw, esppecially the detailing on the drums, all in all it took around 4 days to do. All drawn in illustrator cs2, with alittle colour tweakage in PS.

I will post the link to the website when its finished to prevent confusion over ripping etc.

long time ago I would had to do this... now reviewing my vectorika magazine files... I'm surprised when I see this art work again... ey! it's lee25 work! ... A master piece. I had thinking about that... and now I'm here to do it. Something small (and smaller looking favs number) but neccesary according to my humble sense of better and worse... and this work isn`good... its impressive. Great job lee25. Another little to the count

NICE! looking at that in some detail and heavy eye squinting, i understand how tedious it must have been for you! But hell of a result!

lee25 In reply to Dannsquire [2005-12-03 19:13:04 +0000 UTC]

hehe, thanks
there were parts that i enjoyed doing and others that felt like extremely tedious. I htink somewhere in the middle of a vector is the point i enjoy most.

Hi, first of all: beautiful, beautiful work.
Then, as I'm new in the vector world, I have to ask you something:
1)the texture on the background: did you created it or there's a place where to find those beautiful textures?
2)do you use illustrator or freehand? (oh, I now see you wrote it...)
3)how many layers did you use for this? (that's not really interesting for me, but I forgot the other question I had in mind...)

...sorry for my english...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

lee25 In reply to phobyte [2005-11-26 21:09:18 +0000 UTC]

1) redrew the texture then made into a pattern fill in ps
2) illustrator and ps
3)30+ layers
