Description
This is a piece i just did for a client to be used in his website. The subject matter was particularly tedious to draw, esppecially the detailing on the drums, all in all it took around 4 days to do. All drawn in illustrator cs2, with alittle colour tweakage in PS.client: [link]
I will post the link to the website when its finished to prevent confusion over ripping etc.

amazing, the outlet makes me laugh... his arms dont seem 'stong' enough... like.. hmm.. not sure how to put it, but drummers arms are usually flexed and such, he looks too lax.

Hey man, this is a brilliant vector, but I just noticed something on this pic, that should may not be there. See the Plug, well 3 lines of pattern up, and one to the left. there is a black don't, it doesn't look like it's meant to be there. If you aren't sure where I am talking about, I'll explain it better.

Well, you've got some really amazing skills in vector art, I must say.
It is a pity that, although I love the lineart, I don't happen to like the colouring you did: I think that the man needs a more three-dimensional feeling, and it could be just me, but I see something wrong with the atmosphere.
But the rest is so great that it compensates BY FAR my objections. Really.

i really love it but as a drummer i notice the lack of hi-hats. exceptional work though... snare drum needs a stand. love the wallpaper and his "drumming face" - everyone has one.

And just today I sketched a drum set from memory. I wish I'd seen this earlier; I could have used it as a reference. It would have looked much better than it does now, although it still wouldn't look anywhere near as good as this.
