Ah yes, some global diversity for once. We got representatives from Canada, the United Kingdom, China, India, Japan, Brazil, the American West, and finally, Greece.

Too bad Archie messed up on their culture and forgot that Brazil is the only South American nation to be colonized by Portugal and logically, Plant Man over here should've been speaking Portuguese. A similar mistake happened with the manga adaptation, where they somehow made Centaur "Man" into a girl robot who was in love with Knight Man, just to give a flimsy reason behind the Knight Crush's name.

Meanwhile, one Nathaniel Hoover pondered on the possibility that the bots should be named after where they're from and not their appearance. When he got to Wind Man, he realized how racist this could possibly sound. Then again, some might argue that this whole game is racist.

Not to mention the uneducated eye might mistake Flame Man for a terrorist from Saudi Arabia and not an entertainer from India, due to the turban and all the oil. I wouldn't touch those dummies with a 50-foot Hard Man.

This kind of untapped global potential would be later revisited in the 8th game. Smooth graphics! Well-animated cutscenes! Too bad the English voicework kind of fell flat, with mispronunciations and stuttering abound.*

*Sadly, despite the stage select screen in the 8th game featuring a globe with, again, 8 spots in various diverse locations, the rogues gallery there is all from one location just off the outskirts of Giga City, which happens to house the coordinates of Dr. Wily's lab.
