Like in the description, the name "Fathurmure" was from captaincuttlefish. I believe the name serves as his 'night fury name' in the series, but was never really explained in detail. I imagine it to be like this: you have a pet, and since you don't know it's name you give it one. What you don't know is that your new pet already has a name, but it's not like he/she can tell you. From my observation, "Fathurmure' serves as his original, first given name in his comic, but I don't remember him continuing the comic. Would've explained more :/
