nice orange and blue contrast, have you tried placing the tree on the right side? The white may give it more emphasis.

Got my system Thursday, I am still setting it up. Very impressed with Windows 7.

I told you that it's great, didn't I? My son has been using the beta since it was first released and I decided to change into it after trying it few times.

You did say, but I am usually apprehensive of a new OS until at least the first service pack.
But touch wood no compatibility problems so far, hardware or software, everything I have installed seems to run sweet as a nut.

Yes, it is a new system, and I have been selective of which software I have installed, that maybe the reason. But I donβt run games. But saying that, my boy is doing computers in college; his course is affiliated with Microsoft and they have been supplied free MS software by MS for the duration of the course. He has installed the x86 version of Windows 7 and run it from the release date, and he has only had one game to fail. He tried installing it on the MS Virtual PC running XP with no success.

My son plays quite much and he doesn't have mentioned about any problems with the games he has installed. I guess that game is an exception.

Yes, he said it was a bit unstable on Vista, I think it was a game for Vista.

I've heard a lots of troubles when people were trying to install games to Vista. Many games were especially updated for Vista when it came and still they kept crushing.
Btw, I just "purchased" The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking. Listening to it now. It's better than I remembered.

i am downloading windows XP mode at the moment that runs as a vitual machine inside win 7. you get this with the Pro and Ultimate versions. i have a dated scanner, so this is just in case. i will let you know when i try it out tomorrow or the day after.
