Description One night I dreamt that to counter some big threat, Ratchet had to investigate the power of sugar and three of the Dinobots developped a technique to combine: while Sludge formed the lower body and the legs of a bigger Tyrannosaurus, Snarl the upper body and head (with his plates becoming the teeth) and Grimlock the tail (the rationale being that a dinosaur with two heads can deal more damage).
So I took this idea (sans the Ratchet part) and made OCs of them.
For some reason I felt like I wanted to use preexisting TF names. Might be that by now I'm slightly sick of the ever-reimagining of G1 (Animated, Movieverse, WfC/Prime) and tend to think that we need a show with a rooster like the Beast Wars, RiD or Unicron Trilogy, i.e. take the familiar names, but slap them on wildly differing personalities and also invent a lot of new bots.

So, Crest (named after Crest [link] ), the combined Parasurolophus [link] form of Finback [link] , Hosehead [link] and Hardhead [link] .
Only later did I find Tri-rex [link] , so my idea isn't that original :/

Cool Idea! combining into a dino-mode rather than a bot-mode, and fembots too! I was going to have some dinobot femmes, but Grimlock doesn't strike me as an equal opportunities employer, so I put some in my Dinopretender unit.
Just an idea, but did you toy with a Pteradactyl one who could form the 'sail' of a Dimetrodon mode?

Thanks!
I'm not a Dimetrodon fan, but if I added a sail-forming Pterodactyl, they could become an Ouranosaurus...

Intriguing, and the name Crest immediately led me her... did you see our version?
