I can honestly say that, tonight was going to be great. A good show, with a lovely girl....it couldn't get any better then this. Now I know you guys are probably thinking, 'Is he going on a date?' Ha! I wish, but it was nearly an outing with a friend who I've supposedly grown to really like. I'll tell you first off, that my name is Steroro. I'm your average Keronian, who lives an average life, and just happened to meet someone whom I find incredibly awesome, cute, funny....gah! Okay let me tell you how it all began. I've known this girl named Lalulu for just a while, like one, two, or maybe even three months, I have no clue. I learned that Lalulu is part of this group known as the X-Holics....I should've figured that out though, it was quite obvious. Honestly to say I've always wanted to join the X-Holics, and I've been thinking about joining them for quite some time, due to the fact that I think my skills in electronics, computers and maintenance and all that could come quite in handy. It was kind of a weekend when I came to a realization that I was truly and most honestly...bored. And I felt like doing something rather then go about my house doing my usual nerdy technology stuff. I needed to get out with some friends or something....it was just....yeah I need to get outta the house pretty much. I called a few of my friends, asking if they wanted to do anything....but of course I was sadly rejected because they had other things to do then to bother with me....joy. I decided to just you know....get out there myself, try and find something interesting that I could probably do myself...or with one other person, I don't know. And off I went, traveling the streets, looking around here and there, but finding nothing of interest....except for maybe one. Ahh yeah that old comedy club, heh, it was a pretty cool place to be honest, I'd actually been there a few times, good laughs, for good prices I'd always say. I walked past it, but then a "Hey you!" was heard behind me. I turned around, trying to find the voice that was beckoning me from the unknown, until I found out who it was. In front of the comedy club was one of those old theater booths, and in that booth a man....or in this case Keronian who was giving me a look. I walked up to him, raising one of my non existent eyebrow's. "I'm giving out the last two tickets to tonight's show! would you like them?" he asked me, a generally big smile on his face. I thought about it....and maybe this was what I needed. "Sure, I'll take them." I told him. And of course we made the exchange, I got the tickets, he got the money. And now there was only one thing left for me to do...

"You....want to take me out somewhere?" She had asked me, giving me a questionable look. I smiled at Lalulu, nodding my head off like an excited idiot. "Yeah! I mean, don't you think that it would be pretty cool for us to hang out there? I mean I bet you'd get some laughs in....you do like to laugh right?" She stared at me for only a few seconds, then at the ticket. Slowly she took the ticket from my hand, examining it with those green eyes of hers...maybe she was trying to check something? I don't know. "Well....maybe I could....I'll have to see, but I can't guaranteed anything." She did however place the ticket in her pocket. "I'll see about tonight....do you want to make plans now?" Again I nodded my head like an idiot. Of course I didn't want to get in the way of her job, which I have mentioned before, that I feel like joining. And I knew how much of a bother it could be trying to make plans while you only have a break for about...what a few minutes? But during that time we were able to find out something, and she in fact had time off. SWEET! Score one for Steroro the Great! That was awesome though, I was definitely happy about the fact she was able to go! Oh man was I a happy camper! "So, what is this whole comedy thing about may I ask Steroro?" She said to me, curiosity soon taking place on her face. I only shrugged, and kinda chuckled. "I honestly have no clue. It's about some guy wearing some wig, impersonating some dude." Heh, you should'a seen the look on her face, because it looked like she didn't quite understand. "I guess we'll see when we get there okay?" She nodded, adding an o.k. of her own. "So...what time should I...come around your place?" I asked her....oh wait where was her place?! Eh she'd tell me.

Gah, this place was crowded I tell ya! I mean seriously, there were people all around us, I could swear one of them tried to take my wallet. Lalulu walked beside me, and we got fixed into a pretty nice conversation as we began looking for our seats finally finding one near the front row...HA! We had the only table in front, how lucky were we? "Thanks alot for this Steroro, it was pretty nice of you to invite me." Lalulu told me, a small giggle escaping from her. "It's no problem, my pleasure." I had responded, giving a small look at what was happening up in front. And lo and behold, the certains opened....and then...yeah some guy with an Afro wig had stepped up. He wore this purple suited top with these shiny silver pants. I was taken back, and by the expression on Lalulu's face, I could more then likely tell she was to. But I mean, looks were decieving. I thought this was going to be horrible by his first appearance. the guy actually started out bad, with the bad jokes, the bad...yeah the bad things. I panicked....like really panicked. What if she didn't like it? Eh, crap, she'd probably never wanna go to another place with me again. I took a small gander at her face...and yeah, I was right, she seemed pretty bored. One arm on the table, another arm holding her head up, elbow on the table. Fingers tapped lightly on the covered sheets of our table, but at least her eye's hadn't changed. At least they were still wide open, instead of closing, trying to fight off the drowsiness that would've come sooner ot later. It was silent between us, like really silent...I didn't know what to say. "Sorry that I took you out and dissapointed you. Lets do it again sometime!" no, God slap me in the face for that one. I needed a miracle, anything....like....just make this guy funny or something please!

"Um...." Ah gees I still couldn't say anything, but I did happened to catch her attention. Lalulu gave me a small look, her expression unchanged. She didn't smile, which was a fualt on me, but she had once more given me a questionable look. I hope she silently wasn't asking me "Why did you bring me here?" because I knew if she was....I'd probably just kill myself somewhere in the bathroom or something. "Look....uh...Lalulu?" I said, deciding I mine as well apologize for giving her a horrible night. Suddenly though, she seemed to giggle, and turned her attention back to the afro dude. he made her giggle?....seriously? I gave my full attention this this guy now, watching him as he worked his magic suddenly, the whole room was erupting into laughter suddenly....heck even I found myself getting a chuckle or to. He made more great jokes that time, and now, music to my ears played as Lalulu's laughter brought my spirits back. YES! This was great, finally! the time for us to nearly go was commin' around the corner, and as we prepared to leave "Halt!" Was heard from the afro wonder. "Now I know ya'll ain't leavin' this place just yet!" he said to us excitedly. "I have a present for ya'll, and you'd bettah pay much attention! This is gonna be a night for you to remembah!" Lights dimmed, and the stage had blackened. I gave a small look to Lalulu, who stared with wonder back at me. A ball dropped from the ceiling suddenly, a few lights flashed, some kinda disco music played, and then SHAZAM! The Afro wonder began dancing....workin' his groove....and hell everyone burst out laughing, and I could hear Lalulu as well. There was a tear in her eye because she had laughed so much, and hearing her laugh like that, seeing her enjoy herself tonight....it made me feel really good that we were friends...though I kinda had this little thing for her anyway....but it was my secret. She looked at me...I looked at her...and we laughed at eachother. I'd have to say....tonight was enjoyable....and it was better then staying at home on the computer doin' geek stuff.

We walked out of the comedy club together, and Lalulu, boy she seemed to be talking about it. She even admitted she was bored the first few minutes, but his surprise had turned everything around. A couple of time we even began to dance like him, imatating his moves and just joking around like goof balls. "Thanks a lot for tonight." She told me, and boy....it was such a sweet voice. I nodded, feeling my face flush some. "It's my pleasure." I responded. And with that, I received a hug from her, and I couldn't help but hug back. And that ended our night together.....gee,....I could consider doing this more often shouldn't I? And I have to say.....this felt more like.....a date.....or some reason.....

My contest entry for ^^. Oh lord this was a fun one, i had so much fun, and to much procrastination....I'm procrastinating to much these days lol.

^^ Lol so here was my approach with this dev anyway. <.< I kinda made it like a friends night out thing....yeah....thats about it XP but Steroro views it as something a little more then that.

I'm still planning on joining the X-Holics....like seriously for real O.o
