Hi!Another one for my "capcom fanart series"
It´s interesting how this not very important fighter in the game became the main character in Street Fighter Movie and the american animated series. Ryu and Ken are obviously the most important characters, so Guile must have been chosen for patriotic reasons or something
hehe! He´s a good character to chose in SFII anyway.

I like Guile because of his bad ass attitude, and his deep story line. I like this drawing alot, you really captured a classic Guile. I'm glad you didn't give him eyebrows, alot of artist forget he doesn't have them, lol!

true true, anyone considered "american" in any series is bound to get the spot light in the US series.
He does look GI-ish with the platoon tag and the blonde hair.

Tem outro personagem brasileiro da Capcom que é verde e vive na mata. É o Rikuo, o homem sapo de Darkstalkers. Acho que os gringos pensam mesmo que as pessoas aqui são verdes e selvagens!

Certainly, Guile became more famous because the movie was American-Made. :-P Ryu was the one and only character you could actually choose in the original "Street Fighter", and Ken was the only character available when there was a 2-Player game (that's why their powers are terribly similar).
Guile looks like an American Dream. Well, like an American Army Dream, anyway. :-P I always wonder if Von Strangle (from "The Fairly OddParents") has something to do with this guy... they both look so alike...
Anyway, great design, as usual.

It´s true! He wears a militar uniform and carries two american flags in the shoulders, so he seems to be more acceptable to americans than a japanese in a kimono

I've never really PLAYED the first game, but heard and read lots about it. Maybe I should search for it and give the thing a try...

Very true, and in the japanesse series, he is just an arrogant US army soilder. And he just help Ken and Ryu a bit at the end of the series.
