Description
EDIT: since people are apparently having trouble (lol), you need to DOWNLOAD this tutorial to see the full view. come on guys xDpart II: [link]
PHEW!
ok so like i said, i've been working on a book binding tutorial, since i know that i would've been so grateful for something like this back when i didn't have a clue how to make a book but really wanted too
this took me all day, so i hope it's helpful, and i hope you can understand what i'm going on about xD some parts were really difficult to explain in writing...
and it includes all my secrets, so i hope those of you who do give it a go appreciate it!
obviously this is only part I, and it includes making your covers and inside pages. hopefully i'll be able to put more work into finishing it tomorrow, otherwise i won't be able to get the rest up till after christmas and you'll all be stuck with half a book lol!
this is going to be the same style of book as this one: [link]
in case you were interested in having a look at what it will look like when it's done
ANYWAY. if you do take a stab at bookmaking and you use my tutorial give me a shout, i'd love to see how you do!
and if there are any questions so far, post them here and i'll gladly answer them if i can

Thanks a million; I've read lots of books on bookbinding, but none of them explained the process as easily as you've done here! *clapclap* Must try this!

Ok this is just flat awesome.. I've always wanted to do something like this, but just couldn't find a tutorial that had enough steps to it- like maybe they were made for people who already knew how to do these lol.. I'll definitely be attempting this though!

The only mildly confusing part was with the stitching.. but that would be confusing no matter who wrote it.. like you said, that section would really be easier in person lol

lenoki In reply to HiddenRelevance [2009-05-03 04:45:31 +0000 UTC]
haha yeah, sorry about that it's o frustrating because it's REALLY simple.. you just can't explain it without a proper demonstration.
