Description
One of a set of four bookmarks with an African animal theme, created for sale at an arts & crafts market this September. Each bookmark features a particular animal (in this case a noble looking leopard) wearing clothing and jewellery etc… inspired by the designs of various tribes, including details from the Masai, Zulu, Samburu & Gabra people.Each bookmark is created using mixed medium, 7”x2”, scanned, touched up and then re-printed on thick cardstock and presented in a plastic sleeve with a ribbon of matching colour tied to the end.

It is amazing to see how much detail you put into your artwork and how well you know about colours.
In my opinion, I especially like the upright format canvas. They are very tight yet give you so much freedom to widen the picture in a different way.
It draws a lot of attention to the audience too, especially with such a picture like yours.

That's true, I really like playing around with shapes and sizes of frames or canvas. I think i kind of fell in love with high formats.

Nooooo! Everyone likes the leopard! Lol... That's the only one that seemed to sell well. Personally I would have purchased the elephant myself.

it's the colors. I like the red toga-wrap, it's the most colorful bit
