The text in this comic is my favorite quote from Satoru Iwata. Maybe many others like this quote as well!Shame on me for being a month late! If it weren't for this man, I wouldn't be drawing Nintendo comics today; he played a pivotal role in making video games an irreplaceable part of my life. Many other people have much more eloquently expressed how Iwata has impacted their lives. Be that as it may, here's my own farewell to Iwata.

Nintendo has put a tribute to Iwata in the Switch. In every one, there's a NES game called Golf, the very first game Iwata programmed. The only way to access it is by using the Joy-Cons(Detached from the console) and doing his 'Direct' motion on July 11th, the day of his death.

Responsible for some big titles getting the chance to grace our lives!
His and his team-mates/workmates are one reasons we have the ever cheerful Kirby series and others as well.
Satoru is the only Corporate executive and company president that I know of, that took a personal 50% pay-cut instead of laying off a 1/4 or 1/3 of his workforce during these tough years!......
I wish our Country's CEO'S were that noble in business life.....

I have to agree with you on the quote, it has to be my favorite as well~! I honestly didn't know that Iwata was President of Nintendo until I learned about his death.
But I have to agree with MintyZedGrimes on this, he didn't deserve to go through cancer. It's horrible to go through something like that ; m ;

Correction Iwata didn't creat Legend of Zelda Shigeru Miyamoto did also he didn't create the Kirby series Masahiro Sakurai created the character Kirby when he was just 19 years old. Iwata co developed the first Snash Bros. game with Sakurai.
