The campaign has been taking a mini-hiatus for the holidays, but our next session of 'The Adventurer's Guide to Death' will be next week, and I'm very excited :> A great way to ring in the new year!
In the meantime, I've been occupied with helping our DM Aven-Scorchfield refine some of the background lore, specifically the stuff concerning Josh's native country of Zephyr. It's a land of high mountains, thick snows, and flying whales. The humans there live a rugged life, brutish and short by the standards of the other five nations. Yet this has made them strong. Even though this is a portrait of Jay, I really wanted to reflect that ferocity, and also explore what he might look like in a couple of years when he's lost some of the baby fat >_>...
