Description
Xenoposeidon proneneukos ahora que se sabe que es un rebaquiosáurido he decidido recrear en vida a este animal tan poco apreciado. Animales fragmentarios, poco populares, pero bien descritos necesitan más amor.
Esta es una reconstrucción inicial y muy poco rigurosa, sin embargo me he basado en Rebachisaurus y Limaysaurus para realizar el dibujo, y en una amalgama de cráneos de diplodócidos así como primordialmente en los de Limaysaurus y Nigersaurus.
Basado en los diagramas de Limaysaurus por Gregory S. Paul y el de Nigersaurus por Scott Hartmann así como en los fósiles de Rebbachisaurus.
También debo comentar que la postura del cuello esta en esa forma debido a que me estoy basando en los estudios del mismo paleontólogo que describió a Xenoposeidon acerca de la postura del cuello de los saurópodos y otros de Gregory S. Paul y Lobón et al. 2013 así como una entrada del blog SVPOW posteada por Matt Weddel, así que me arriesgo a mostrar la postura del cuello de la familia Rebbachisauridae de esta manera en base a esto y mis propias creencias al respecto. (Estaré dejando referencias de todo abajo). También le añadí una especie de labios-mejillas como idea personal, el cráneo como ya mencione es una amalgama de cráneos de diplodócidos, pero los labios hacen que parezca más el de un Titanosaurio, lo se xd :v

Xenoposeidon proneneukos now that it is known that is a rebbachisaurid I have decided to recreate in life this animal so little appreciated. Fragmentary, unpopular, but well-described animals need more love.
This is an initial reconstruction and very little rigorous, nevertheless I have based on Rebachisaurus and Limaysaurus to realize the drawing, and in an amalgam of skulls of diplodocids as well as primarily in those of Limaysaurus and Nigersaurus.
Based on the diagrams of Limaysaurus by Gregory S. Paul and that of Nigersaurus by Scott Hartmann as well as the fossils of Rebbachisaurus.
I should also comment that the neck posture is in that form because I am relying on the studies of the same paleontologist who described Xenoposeidon about the neck position of the sauropods and others of Gregory S. Paul and Lobón et al. 2013 as well as a SVPOW blog entry posted by Matt Weddel, so I risk showing the neck posture of the Rebbachisauridae family in this way based on this and my own beliefs about it. (I'll be leaving references of everything below). I also added a kind of lips-cheeks as a personal idea, the skull as I mentioned is an amalgam of skulls of diplodocids, but the lips make it look more like a Titanosaur, I know xD :v
