This was great basics, and it helped me as I'm really trying to become a better photographer.. but could you give a guide on taking pictures of people? I really have a hard time looking them in the eyes, making the angles look right, background to put out the person more..
Please? :3

This helped me a lot, but the camera I have now has none of the options you said most cameras have that you can adjust to make the pictures look as good as a really expensive one.
I have a Nikon Coolpix L3 Ver.1.2, do you know anything about this specific camera that I could work with?

Thank you so much for putting up this guide. It has helped me realise what things I have been doing, but not realising what they were. I'm sure other photographers on DA would feel a similar way that I did.

I have been photographing for about a month. Before that, I had a digital camera made just for taking fun photos with no real professionalism behind it. This guide is very useful to someone who wants to pursue a career in photography, like myself. Some of the tips I'd found by myself, and some of these may not work for me personally, but I did learn some things that I would love to experiment on. Who knows? I may discover new things that I can do with photography by expanding on some of the suggestions. To sum it up, I'd like to say that this is a wonderful tutorial, and thanks for making it!
