Finally got to type 'Hooch is crazy.'

Trying out different angles now, so for panel 1 I took on a top-down, full-body shot. It came out pretty good on paper but after scanning I wanted that kitchen to have more depth, so I drew more in Photoshop. it's the first time I drew something in Photoshop without tracing pencils, so I'm real proud of how it came out.

I had to establish that JD was at home, not the hospital, so he's got on his civilian hoody and rucksack from waaay back in page three and a pizza on the counter which he picked up for dinner tonight... or has left over from last night. The point is, he's home. So it had to feel like a home. A guy's home. Therefore, the place is a fucking mess.

The other thing I did was try to put more realism into their hands, and more lines into faces.

Colouring has suddenly become real important to me. I figured it was just a simple case of pointing and clicking, but nope. This time I tried out more tones on the walls and doors instead of just one colour. Also threw specks of colour on certain parts for added detail; the dying plant, the bloodied gloves, even the window frame has scum on it from not being cleaned. My kitchen windows are like that, anyway.

It all looks okay, still got a Helluva lot to learn, though.
