This is my color interpretation of a pencil sketch by MsLyoness:

Mira Nova of "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" is a child of the stars. Therefore she is wearing the stars.
This drawing won Second Place in the Fantasy category at the Orycon 2010 Artshow in Portland.

I rarely see anything this intricate and beautiful with colored pencil (let alone one of Mira). Her dress looks so sparkly, the mist like real mist, and her face is just perfect!

Lex, this looks even better than I thought it would! Your coloring skills are wonderful; you've really given the linework a life of its own. Thanks for making that sketch into this, and if you'd ever like to use some linework of mine again, you most certainly have my permission.

Since I based it on MsLyoness' original sketch I can only take credit for the lighting and textures. The one element I added was the smokey little ember. Mira looks at her empty hand in the sketch, so I figured she needed to be seeing something. What that little light is can be up to the viewer to interpret.

sheet of blue scrapbooking paper with liquid acrylic highlights.
