I think that was a question of which helps more,


1.) sketching a ton while looking at people, such as in a public place

or

2.) Studying anatomy books and trying to get down the human form naturally by mind.

IMO:

1) Will help drawing realistic figures and poses.

2) Will inform the artist of the anatamy in question, thus, allowing for stylization and exaggeration.

Ha, you have just reinforced my opinion that you're the best sketch artist on this site. I like the two woman on the bottom, that samurai sword is kickin and the SMG (strangely resembling the Halo 2 one) is pretty cool as well. Great job man

i like this one, but it's the four central matrix positions 2,2 2,3 3,2 3,3 that are the lesser of this one.

i can't remember the matrix type where all the centralised positions are zero.

oh well. 2,D is my favourite.

I definitely had Ape Escape in mind when I drew it. I know I took a lot of liberty to make it hairy. But a monkey is a monkey.

I liked the design as I came across the cross merchandising on MGS3 SNake Eater. There was a mini game built in. when completed, Snake gets a plastic ape mask!

Yeah, I loved those games. I ended up playing it all in one go until I had high scores on all of them. Something about it was so adictive and fun.

And yeah, I love that ape mask XD Sometimes I put it on but forget, then try to go into first person view to shoot someone and realize I can see 2% of the screen.

I've seen some clips of the MGS section in Ape Escape 3, looks very fun. I think it actually ties in with the story in MGS3s ape mode. (Man, I was laughing out loud to that opening codec for the ape mode XD)
