A portrait study gone awry. Took way too long and went totally astray from the original intent.Face referenced from a random photo from the web.

OH MY FRIKKING GOD! Ever read Starship Troopers? The book has jack to do with the movie of the same name, if you haven't, and the character battle in armour that I always imagined looking SO much like this. It's right on the money. Great work!!!

I really like this - the contrast between the driver and the armour/mecha is beautifully handled. She seems so pink and vulnerable within the hard metal shell.

I absolutely do! I highly recommend anyone working in computer graphics/digital painting to get a decent tablet.
I'm using a Wacom graphire 2, they don't make that model anymore.

I've been looking on eBay for some tablets, and they had some 6 x 8 tablets for 20 dollars! And they had like a minute left on them.
Are you big on gaming? It's proved to be a big influence on my artstyle.

I think the only thing that gets worn out on these tablets are their drawing surface. Mine has fallen apart steadily over the past few years, it's still usable!
