At last I can spill the beans! I'm the artist on the new Gears of War comic from DC's Wildstorm imprint, launching in October before the new game. My story bridges the two.Very exciting!
This was the piece that landed me the gig.

Great piece! Your handling of volumes in ink is amazing, and I really like this likeness to Marcus. The selected extra detail around him really draws my eye in, I'd almost hate to see it colored. I'll have to to pick up this comic sometime for sure.

I have the Gold Lancer, Gold Hammerburst, and the NXE background. What else could be unlocked.
Also where can I pick up the next copy, or is there a way it can be deliverd?

You can buy it at comic shops, but I imagine you can order copies online. Maybe a question you could ask on the official Gears site? I'm not in the marketing dept, so I don't know personally. Sorry man.

Indeed there is! Issue 1 and 2 are out, and doing very well - there's an easter egg for the game in issue 2 as well. You can get it in any good comic shop, or amazon I expect! Loads more preview art in my gallery.

This inspires me on so many levels. The inking is nice and heavy and the lineart nicely reflects the mood portrayed in the game. How long did this piece take? I just finished Gears 2 with my friend and now I'm in a Gearsy mood.
