Description
At last I can spill the beans! I'm the artist on the new Gears of War comic from DC's Wildstorm imprint, launching in October before the new game. My story bridges the two.Very exciting!
This was the piece that landed me the gig.

Note: This was posted in 2008. I've now finished 11 issues, collected in two volumes, and have since finished drawing the title. Thanks for all the kind words!

Thank you! Man, so many people have already finished Gears 2... I can't even play the first one! I'm all thumbs! LOL!
I think this took about five or six hours, so not so long really. The new pages in my gallery took a LOT longer...

It's roughly A3 - half again as big as a regular comic page.

Thanks! Yeah, I love Gears of War ( my gamertag is Roomsmack in case you plan on xbox live). Thats cool. I paint with acrilics sometimes but I'm hoping to start coloring comics ( first I have to get photoshop!)

Liam, it looks AMAZING! Funny how I actually live around where Epic Games is in North Carolina, and talk to the makers pretty often, and them knowing I'm a comic geek it surprises me that they didn't even tell me this...
