Glad you picked up on that! I wanted it to be clear that he is the most reluctant of the warriors. After the war he became devoted to peace, a pacifist - and was then smelted by humans... such a fantastic story line. There should be pain in those eyes.

What a deep character. The word for the emotion that I was getting from him wasn't coming to me, but pain is close to what I get from it. Hm.. perhaps sadness and some sort of yearning. So yeah, pain haha.

Bwahhh... The background, She burns!
I totally love this, but the background flames seem a wee bit saturated. Took a minute for my eyes to adjust, so I could make out all the juicy details in the arms.
