Hello little tea cups! My two year anniversary on DeviantArt is on August 11th, so let's celebrate with another art competition! Unfortunately I'm going to be hella busy in August so I'm starting the contest a bit early! Thank you for reading and possibly participating, please read through the entire journal (it's a long one) before commenting!
Prompt
Draw at least one of my original characters featured in my ToyHouse (or Refsheet)! I don't have much art of my original characters (except for Hatter, Colin, and Lissa
These characters were so fun to draw! I was immediately drawn to Sol because their design is so cute! I love the hair hiding eyes thing, haha. And when I saw that they and Ollie were pals I thought it'd be fun to draw them together! I don't usually draw 4-legged characters as the larger of a pair with a two-legged character, haha. I chose green and yellow as the BG colors because Green is Ollie's favorite color, and Yellow is Sol's favorite! Plus they look good together.
Anyway, I hope you like it! They were a blast to draw!!

This is the first work ever of Ollie and Sol together and I love it! The fact that Sol is just chilling and swinging on Ollie's tail is so amusing to me and I love her excited expression! I also love the small touch with the green and yellow background

I'm glad you like it! They were both really fun to draw. When I saw their size comparison I just HAD to draw Sol being a tiny cutie, haha.
