Description
A quick piece. I only have a few hours during the evening after the kids have gone to bed to relax. (If I'm lucky) I find that sketching helps me do that. So, I end up sketching things like this. (Or the other bizarre stuff in my gallery.)Related content

I like it, you did a great job on the stones. It looks like water color.

This is simply beautiful. At first I thought it was an oil painting (but you don't see that kind of art these days).
There's something in this painting which makes "everything work". I can't really explain this feeling. The composition, the scenery (forest & riverbank) and especially colours are splendid. And it's bright.
I wonder how many artists can make such a "quick pieces"...

I love the simplicity and feel of this!
You make it look so easy.
If I try something quick and simple like this it usually looks like nothing on earth!

Thank you very much! Sometimes "nothing on earth" is a very good thing.

Mmm, agreed with those who mentioned this before, the lack of detail in points actually makes it really, really good.
Amazing work!

I think a Monty Python quote is accurate here:
*ahem*
"None shall pass!" *deep booming voice*
Nice job!

Ah, one of the best scenes in the movie.
"'Tis but a scratch!"
"A scratch? Your bloody arm's off!"

I like the simplistic look, it makes it look like a painting to me.

It's certainly a lot faster to make without obsessing over detail.

I thought it was trolls.
...and you are absolutely right about the width... it looks more like an aqueduct.

Very true. Especially since this is the great Chocolate Syrup Aqueduct of the Northern Kingdom. And woe be unto the guard who lets its precious content fall into enemy hands.

Thanks a lot. I wish I was about to draw more, but I also don't like the idea of pursuing "starving artist" professionally. Plus, I love computers so if I was drawing all the time, I would miss programming.
