I see this picture in my own situation. But I would say she comforts me... I hope o comfort her. Man, this is spot on. Brings things back that needed to surface.

I was in this situation, and it was hell. I cried myself to sleep every night, I hated being 2,000+ miles away from the love if my life :' ( 3 and a half months straight without seeing him... and the reunion was perfect, all worth the wait <3 this picture is VERY powerful and says a lot of things

Well, people don't lie when they say "absence makes the heart grow fonder" because it's damn true; and that's pretty much what happened to me. As soon as I saw him at the gate at the airport, smiling with arms opened, I couldn't be happier. It is SO worth the wait though, and it seemed like years.. just stay strong my friend

But i think mine realationsship is allready broken, she said taht she is not strong enough 4 this.

It really hurt to say taht, but it was the best i think...

There's something I need to know, is it about a long distance or breakup relation ship. Because this two are twoΒ differentΒ thing. Your title and your description just don't match. Take a look at it would you?
Your question is : Something about this piece screams unfinished to me, i think it's the lighting, i don't think it quite makes sense. what do you think? and i don't think the anatomy quite looks right
This art really deep and touch the heart. It so sad but in the same time warm and needing feeling. This emotion are conveying successfully. Also the girl pose and the hugging was so sorrowful, like it was trying to tell how to not let go even though all the distance. There's nothing wrong with the anatomy. It's just perfectly fits in the perspective. Good job!
The lighting from the phone isΒ okayΒ but you're not applying it on the skin , the trousers and her hair. That is where this piece screaming to you I guess. Also the ghost hand should be faded a little if the lighting was on his hand. Which show how the lighting suppose to be.
For improvement, you need to study more on lighting. Recognize where and how the light would be applying and also the shadow when they meet the light. There is many tutorials that you can look for.

I must say this is one of the most emotional pictures I have ever seen. It made a tear drop from my eye, I must tell. It really expresses deep emotions. Amazing work. And I don't say that often (:
Another thing is that the poses and angle aren't easy, but very well-done and well-chosen. Also, the light source is very interesting too.
The colors you picked fit together really well. The dark colors make the 'ghost' look even brighter and the red-ish colors express the girl's deep emotions, as sorrow and pain.
I also love the lighting, especially on the girl's hair. But the parting isn't very clear. Normally, there should be a soft shadow to show where the parting is. But maybe she hasn't fixed her hair very well because of her sorrow o: So I won't count it as a mistake.
I believe that the shading of her clothes is too smooth, except if it they're very tight.
Some more shading on her arms wouldn't harm, just to give more volume.
Also I think that if the light silhouette's lineart was smoother, it would give a calmer and deeper effect.
There isn't much more to say. It's really a very beautiful artwork, and I hope this feedback helped you, even a little (:

I don't have any suggestion to give you because as I saw this piece I thought it was perfect and I couldn't help but fall in love with it!
So I would tell you what I like the most about it, hoping it could help you working on your next pieces
I will start from the feelings it arouses. I think they are mainly conveyed but the way you played with the light. The dark colours of the picture make the light silhoutte look even more bright. They convey a strong sense of solitude which is underlined by the light of that silhoutte. it seems to say "I would be there for you if I could, but the distance prevents me from doing it. You are alone, and I am far from the girl I'd like to be next to". It really gets me!
Your shadowing is also great and the empty background was a great idea too! It makes the viewers focus their attention on that painful hug. Empty backgrounds usually make the picture look incomplete but you avoid it but drawing that line between the walls and changing the colours. Great intuition!
Concerning the characters general proportions are respected, the pose is natural but I would suggest you to work a little on hands and feet in order to make them as perfect as the rest of the piece.

What a beautiful piece.
Every element is meaningful and drives emotion deep into the viewer's gut. 
I really can only suggest lightening up the colors of the bedsheets so that the person's pants can be distinguished more readily. Also, his elbow seems positioned a bit awkwardly, perhaps you could take another look?
Otherwise...absolutely amazing.

I have a lot of respect for this piece. It is bound to resonate plenty of deep, heartfelt emotions and past experiences with different viewers.
Interestingly enough, this piece is able to make me feel lonely and yet accompanied at the same time, it is the same feeling of suffering when you're on your own for example, but a loved one leaves you an encouraging voicemail. Though he/she wasn't physically there, you can feel their presence and that's what I believe what this is all about.
The composition is quite simple, while the poses are spot on, but the overall concept is very effective.

First i'd like to say as a drawing it is very well drawn and a beautifull depicted.
At first before reading the title the drawing looked exactly like how i feel since i recently lost my father and this piece speaks to me on an emotional level, Feeling a person's presence even though they aren't there.Β
