Well trying to break from a bit of a dry spell I got a number of things sketched up which includes this cute lil Dalasine character. ^^

Taka smirked as he climbed up the slide on the playground. He was a relatively normal Dalasine boy approaching his 5th birthday. A fact he liked to boast to with some of his friends sometimes. Today was just like any other day on the playground. There kids of all kinds scampering about. Human, Sauroid, Dalasine. Rather representative of what the colony stood for. Solidarity between this small alliance. Of course all that was far above the little ones that scurried this way and that under the watchful eye of parents. All that was going through Taka's mind at the moment was surveying the playground to see who was there and what was going on. Taka recognized most of the faces. His home town wasn't big. Even the cities weren't too huge yet. So people tended to know one another well. Taka saw two girls from his class on the see-saw, a game of hide and seek going on at the play fort, a few kids in the sand box. A few coming and going from the restroom some of whom were going in with parents for a change and others to actually make use the potty. Something Taka still wasn't sure he liked the idea of. But those thoughts drifted away when he spotted one of his human friends from class arriving at the playground. So with that in mind he turned tail and slid down the slide with a grin before scampering off to meet him. It was just another fun day at the playground.
