Description
My drawing for a super awesome drawing competition held here in the Netherlands. The theme had to be 'birds'. I chose to draw this as it is in fact in line with one of my first memories being fascinated by birds as a child. I saw fieldfares and redwings for the first time, eating a loooot of berries and making a lot of noice. I never saw any bird like these before and I was so surprised as they all sat in a tree very near to my home. My poor parants had to see it too but when we arrived, the birds (and berries) were gone. The berries are in fact of the same Hawnthorn tree, I took pictures from it myself
