Description
A power too great to be bridled can only be set free. ~Yuna (FFX-2)4 days' work, 1300+ shapes. Made with only the Pen Tool in Photoshop.

The detail here is totally awesome!
I think that if I would change anything, I would not have gone for a blue background - that bringing out a lesser-used color would have been something I would have done (this is of course, not asking you to change anything, just something I noticed...) - cause I'm weird like that.
This was always a cool pose 
The effort, as I said, is totally seen here. The work you did definitely paid off. Love the vectoring job, can't wait to see more ^_^

I agree; i prolly shoulda chosen a different color, but I was going for a water/flowing type theme; and blue is my safe color
I think i might be in a bit of a creative slump, though. i haven't made anything to write home about in months... it might be a while for me to get inspired to make another vector. but i promise you that when i make another one, i will put equal amounts of effort in it as I did with this one!

Yeah, working with vector and photomanipulations are kinda my fall back stuff for when I am in a slump (like right now -_-; ) but also of course, looking at others' works...
on that note I will be keeping up with your stuff to see the next vector, haha ^_^

A vector is a kind of image that doesn't get all pixelly when you resize it.
for example, i can resize yuna to 30,000 pixels tall and it would still look crisp (but i won't do that
usually they are cartoonish and are made of big blocks of color (if you look closely, you can see the shapes i made for yuna)
however, with the gradient mesh tool in Adobe Illustrator, you can make photorealistic vectors.

and i guess you can scratch out the text tool. i took out the text because it kinda ruined the feel.
