i received a bunch of cool filters this evening and tried one out on a photo i took this afternoon.i don't normally play with photoshop much. but this one looked kinda cool.

No idea what you did, but boy, does it work.
Incredible colours, they give the image a 'dream' like effect.

thank you. colours are courtesy of the circular polarising filter i use on the lens.
the contrast boost is from a photoshop filter.

thanks buddy. it was awesome to be there. i like the ocean when it is stormy like this. not great for swimming, but great to be there as it churns.

I was hoping to 'get out' but now I've resigned from looking for rentals and im sticking to staying here. It's grown on me over the years anyway!

i will have to hunt you down when i am next down there. this stay was only for a couple of nights so i didn't have too much time to get away. but i really need to make the effort and have that long overdue coffee

Great capture Mr, Enjoying this stormy weather also? I really like the black clouds creeping over, and how the waves and smashing onto shore, they reach out as if to say im waiting for the destruction.
I have been busy out in the yard early Thursday morning Just after a huge down poor, with my camera. got some cool photos also.

Was this during or after the storm?
I never knew Perth's beaches could be so moody...it's rather stunning. You can see the movements and currents and everything.

this is in the afternoon after the overnight storm. but with mor clouds rolling in. i don't think anything came of these ones though. this was taken on thursday.

thanks buddy. the filter got a little wet. i was shooting this with the 10mm open wide. so it was pretty close when i caught this. eep.

i used a circular polarisor which is always screwed onto this lens. but i used a photoshop filter for the funky contrast.
