this is the wedgetail eagle and his keeper - i think he loved her.he was so affectionate to her. remarkable. i think from memory they had only been training together for a short time - a few months.
this was my fave photo from the day.

A tear appeared in my eye when I saw it. Incredible. So much reminds me of all birds I have hand raised and released and those that couldn't come back to the wild due to too serious injuries and also those that lived in captivity forever. Thank you for sharing this.
