Now we're cookin! I think these colors work A LOT better! A little more traditional, yes, but it feels better!This is what Obi should be... dual saber action, hair breezin in the wind, standing over the trophies of his defeated foes... Make a move like this Lucas, and you got my 7 bucks!
:EDIT: Tired of seein this yet? Added those BG shadows, plus lightened/ warmed up the BG quite a bit to get that foreground to pop a little more.

Well if Mace is the pimp, the Obi-wan's gotta be Dirty Harry or something like that, the twrily effect on the green lightsabre's really unique, everything about this is cool, that's all I can say...

ah! Nice. I love Star Wars personally, and this is one of the best pictures I've seen. I love it! And it's not the traditional style, for me it seems like you made it like he has a sense of control over the situation ( what ever that may be ) and doesn't care what happens. It's just..just..I can't describe it! So awesome. My favorite favorite!

Crisp and Clean. I love it. Your work is very stylized and original. I see great things in your future (looking into my crystal ball intently).By the way, are you lookin forward to the next Star Wars movie Mike? I saw the preview yesterday and it looks alot better than Ep 1. By the way, Hellboy is selling like hotcakes but I don't think it did as good in the theatre. Or did it? Big Movie person/buff here, can you tell? Oh Yeah! Robots was great! I highly recommend it. I liked it a little better than Incredibles and I thought that was great.

I wasn't pumped for it, until I saw the new trailer... that makes me want to see it now! I wasn't a fan of the last two though, so I am gonna keep my hopes REAL low!
Hellboy did pretty well in theatres, but like most movies these days, it is really makin the money with the DVD... which kinda makes me mad, cause they did the double dip with that releasing one version, and then a couple of months later, another version... kinda cheap if you ask me... do it right the first time! But, I liked it, and am pumped they are gonna do a sequel most likely!
Yeah, Hen saw Robots and said it rocked... I don't think it will beat Incredibles for me though... bein sucha superhero nut myself, that movies was the perfect match made in heaven... and since I have never been a big robot type of guy, this isn't as cool for me... But since some Alum worked on it, and Blue Sky puts out good work, watch it I must.

Ahh gotta love the Star Wars stuff.
The white outline kinda bothers me but it does help set Obi Wan off from the dark background and make him easier to see. I think, like someone else suggested, you choose a different color than the dark maroon to set him off better without using the white 'outlines.'

Well, if him and Anakin are suppossed to duel it out in this one, and Obi-wan lives, and Anakin is forced to live in a suit to keep him alive... then I would say him whoppin Darth seems right on!

now THAT is lookin sharp mikey! I like the shadow areas and the highlights are lookin great too! I agree that more colors to teh BG, like shadows on the pipes and all that, and this piece will coem together even more! Lookin hot tho, i'm liking the process you got here! Obi wan Wan look skiller tho! The little reflective light you got goin on too....awesomeness! Its all comin together!

the mahogany shadow in the BG doesn't work to great with the Jedi colors, but the rest works insanely well.

shadowing the pipes would be a great idea- also, it might not hurt to maybe lighten the BG shadow a bit more OR lighten the shadows on Obi.

I did like the green, but this suits the whole piece more. His more traditinal coloring works better with the simple funky background. Very fun piece ^^
