Oh, and the lack of blackness was a stylistic thing I was experimenting with. XD; Whether it actually turned out okay remains to be seen, but yeah. Admittedly, I've never tried using layers with any of my drawings, though. I probably should next time.

Oh, layers are crazy helpful. What you draw on one won't affect what's drawn on the other layers. So, like, you can have a layer for the sketch, and start a second layer for the outline. Then you can put a layer underneath the outline for the coloring, so that when you color it won't go over the outline--kindof like a coloring book, murhur.
