Winter where I live (Israel), is something which isn't very common - We don't have enough rainy days (maybe 30 per year) for my taste.These are tehe photos of a sunset before the rain. I'm "hunting" sunsets every two weeks on friday afternoon (before shabath) and this is one of my best results. This panorama was stitched with photomerge - and I like the result a lot.
As you can see - it's a bit "old". I was busy with university...

I was always a fan of these type of skies. It's threatening and beautiful. THe colors remind me of gold. And it's hidden by these dark clouds. It must have been such a beautiful place to behold!

I also liked it a lot - after a whole winter of hunting sunsets every weekend, I got only 2 good days (this and another one) but it was well worth it.

We have only one mountain which has snow on it in the winter (it has snow about half of the winter) and there are several other high places that get snow twice or thrice per winter...
