Well I wonder if you noticed that the United States government is working on decreasing the stockpile with other contries when it comes to nuclear arms. However, there will always be nuclear weapons, Trust me, they are in the best intrest of security untill there is something else built that is stronger and cleaner. XD
Also, Russia. Cold war. Come on. They'll always bud heads with the United States to see who's better because hell they just have a big ego? Then again so do we. However our governments aren't all that bad and in reality we need them to keep things together. you really need to think about it deeply.
