Why three galleries?. Many of you are asking it.
The first was the jchanders´ one, mainly concentrated on nature shots.
Then I started the lightthinker´s one, combining inspiring quotations, i.e. “lightthoughts“, with good pictures.
The third, the esperimenti-gallery was added last autumn, as I wanted to have a special gallery for the subject of „man and his work“, where I could bring in people, city, ship and railway shots which do not really fit the nature-shot concept of the jchanders-gallery, and also to do some experiments time and again. There is some overlap, of course, but there always is in life.

There is much one can read into this shot. And who is the figure who waits at the end of the allée?
I don't know what to feel here. On the one hand I find the scene serene and beautiful, on the other there is a breath of something unsettling in that figure at the end of the lane.
Fascinating how we see our own reflections in art.

Do not worry about that figure after all! It was just someone. But with your lively imagination, you will certainly succeed to make it someone sinister or so ... It may be a friend, though, coming to help you who are lost in the forest.

Good point. However I wouldn't have said "sinister". "Unsettling" is not quite so drastic. But even looking at the picture again, I can't seem to shake that feeling, that the figure is somehow very important.
Maybe I should start working as a medium!

I find it quite fascinating how variously people react to certain stimuli. The more developped their imagination, the more they see. I fear I am more down-to-earth myself, and therefore see less ...
But please do not mistake this as a kind of criticism. I do enjoy your reactions very much.

I want to say extravagant, but the full meaning of the word implies that it's too much, which this is not; it's perfect, so I'll have to settle for beautiful again.
