Description Inspired by forthright's "Unspoiled"

Out of the corner of her eye, she stole glances at the other occupants of the room. Hostile-faced inu-youkaiβ€”leaders, advisers, noblesβ€”stayed well back, as if they expected her to burst into flames at any moment. They're not listening. They don't want to listen. It took everything she had for Kagome to resist the urge to slip behind her defender.

Everyone's facial expressions are so...expressive!! *for lack of a better word* All the advisors...their expressions and emotions are so mixed and yet so appropriate to the situation! I think that the tall guy is my favorite...you really draw crowds well, did you know that? It's appropriately mixed up, but they all flow together so nicely

And Kagome really stands out. Even if her colors and her general features are like theirs, something about her just really stands out from the others in the room. She looks so terrified and uncertain...it's amazing!

Thank you! The secret to drawing crowds is to not get caught up in any one person in particular. Try to imagine emotions, not people, and then plaster on faces to a bunch of dummy-bodies.
Thanks for liking Kagome, too! Even though this story is sorta all about her, she's not really in a lot of sketches. Sometimes I feel awkward drawing her in detail

Hehe, didn't mean to get in the way of your creativity. On the other hand, I try not to illustrate the exact same scenes as you do, but sometimes those are just the best ones.
