By instinct I haven't done this but wouldn't a creature like this have quite the wide range of ear motion?

question. how mobile are vernid ears? are they like a cat's, which can swivel every which way like a damn radar dish, or more like a dog's, which just sorta perk and droop?

i think that the ears are a bit too heavy on them to swivel it round like a satellite dish, so the limitations must probably be perky and droopy.

This is useful for more than just Vernids, but any species with back facing ears. I know I often cheat and draw ears to the side because I had no idea how to draw them to the back.
