Description
Because lighting is extremely important. Just a single shift can change the atmosphere of the picture. Goth enshroud by shadow looks far more dangerous and monstrous than the one that is in normal light. The tone becomes more tense and foreboding.
I love playing around with the filter. Also, I think I can work with FireAlpaca a bit better now. Too bad that it doesn't have the grain filter to make the drawing look like it belongs with the background, but oh well, I'll figure that out someday.
The backdrop is from Disney's "Peter Pan."
This interpretation of Goth belongs to me.

How did you get him in the background? I've been trying but I can't seem to find the layer thing you were talking about for Fire Alpaca. Is it on the menu on top?

He's not in the background. He's on top of it. I inserted the background onto the layer below him. The layer should be on the right side below the navigator. You can add a new layer by clicking either the paper icon on the lower right, or go up to the Layer on the top in the menu and click Add to make a new layer. Drag the layer below the drawing and put the background there.

Oh ok. Thanks it's been driving me crazy trying to figure it out. I've been coloring my characters and then combining them on Microsoft Paint.
