Got my new apple monitor now. Yay! It will be awesome for my editing and colour grading work.I think the Flutterdash collection goes well around it too

Well the batteries are only rated for 1,000 cycles, which is just about 3 years as you probably already know.
I know I'd be able to upgrade the Ram, which is easy (ish) to do at any point if I decided to. Β SSD's are definitely on the table for now, and not through the PCI Express slot either because having to go through the PCI Express bus really slows down read/write times as well as boot, which eliminates the whole reason of getting an SSD.

But, my question is: Β Where can I buy a new battery if I needed to? Β I've looked around and only seemed to find them for 2009-2010 production models of the 17".. Β Maybe I am looking in the wrong places?

1000 cycles is around 5 years for Apples laptops. Hence why my one is still going without issues. 5-6 hrs on battery instead of 7 or more is still a good battery. So what you are getting will more than likely be fine. Main place to buy the batteries for them is from OWC (along with pretty much anything else you need to upgrade a mac). They have high quality aftermarket batteries for pretty much all mac laptops.Β

Thats the smaller of the two Wacom tablets I have. I use them for drawing pony ... as well as all my other graphical and film work.
My intuos4 wacom is better for drawing. While that on pictured I like to use for my editing in Final Cut. I love my drawing tablets... I basically use that one for everything...
Theres just no way im releasing my drawings yet. They still suck.

As per the fact that every day I write more Flutterdash... I really like them... a lot. Watching the show I really thought they were together and they are very cute together and work perfectly and so yea... I like them too much. But thats okay, I enjoy writing about them and having my plushies at work
