The two statues, I think, make a very touching point to the picture...separately, neither is whole, but together they have everything.

Just the other day, Venus passed the sun. I can't really call it an eclipse, since Venus was so small in the sky compared to the sun, but I still think the timing of this comic was pretty cool.
I actually got to see Venus through my telescope when it happened... it was pretty cool, and not something I'm likely ever going to see again.... unless I live till 2113. I would be 115 O.o

I think luna grew a little so the moon can look like it's as big as the sun. Well that is what a eclipse is.

Ya know, a solar eclipse kinda feels like the sort of thing they'd only do during a national tragedy. Sort of like flying flags at half-mast.

For me, Eclipse is not a sign of the apocalypse, so I decided not to do this.
