I drew the top illustration in the middle of the night, sleep deprived and waiting for painkillers to kick in for an awful migraine and the bottom next day, a bit better rested and high on post-workout endorphins. I really like the bottom one better, I was able to think out some details character and composition wise and work more cleanly with the watercolor markers I found. Also Diego really doesn't look like himself in that first panel (what was i thinking with that stubble?)

Ava and Diego teaming up to fight against spectres; he hasn't been psychologically conditioned against spectres so he's freaking out but Ava'll get them both out of there alive this time.
