I love the angle that this scene is shown. The tilted view adds to that topsy turvy feeling that the world has gone crazy and is being disappeared out from underneath the character. The artist has also really succeeded in a strikingly engaging line style, despite (or because of) extreme simplicity. I like the varying line widths, but that nothing is really "thin." The tiniest hint of shading on the figure and nowhere else also really charmed me.

I think the darkness of the lines is too much, though. I understand that it was made so dark to make the figure and scene really "pop" against the blue lined paper, which was indeed a necessary step, but I think it's gone just a little bit too far. The only place I really see the texture of graphite (barely) is in the text. I spent a long time staring at this picture trying to decide if it had been inked at some point it looks so dark, and really having trouble believing that that eraser was such a big threat to pen. I know that there are some erasers and some pens that will do that, but certainly not all and it's certainly not the traditional "eraseable" medium, and the entire point of this piece is erasing. Even if the linework must be dark in order to fight the blue lines of the paper, I really wish we could still see a little more texture in it, or perhaps it was a shade lighter so it still looked like pencil. I found it an unfortunate distraction to what was really meant to be a simple, light, humorous piece.

I feel sorry for that little guy. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l… " width="19" height="21" alt="" title="Laughing my ass off!" />

Very charming, filled with humor, and charismatically cute .

The artist of this really knows what they was doing and they put a little message at the bottom of it to show what the little man in the drawing is feeling.

Although it lacks somewhat in Originality, it makes up in simplicity.

The drawing style of this is very simple and looks like a thing that anyone can draw but what makes this so special is the fondness and cutness that the artist put in towards this work.

This can make anyone smile or chuckle and that is the key thing that can make anyone's day.

This little fella is gorgeous! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/g/g… " width="17" height="15" alt="" title="Giggle" />
The drawing is perfectly drawn and how the little fella is looking right at your hands is magic!
You have put so much effort into this piece, even putting the grass perfectly positioned on the lined paper.
The online tiny little criticism i have is that the "Help me" Could've been a tiny but closer to the drawing.
But this criticism is not really proper, you just need to give some improvement comments XD LOL
This is definitely the best one of these drawings i have seen, putting so much detail into it and effort (:
Congrats...

What can I say? It's a funny piece with a cute design. The simple line of dialogue is cute, maybe make it a bit bigger so people can see it from the thumbnail? Other than that, I love the rough around the edges look, it looks rushed and frankly this is a rushed scene. Very little shading, which adds on to the quirkiness of it. The only thing that may have confused me a little was how the eraser was pointing in one direction but the lined paper and the grass was starting to fade from the other. Other than that, I really like it and its very cute. It also doesn't require to think much about it, which most people in our society have a hard time doing XD

Ultimately this is a seamless blend of 2 mediums that tell a rather humerus tail. The basic concept of a threat present that slowly approaches I allude to the concept of fearing that which you cannot stop. Additionally the cartoonish style is supplemented by being clean tidy with no stay artifacts. One thing I am though concerned about is the fact you did not state the medium you are erasing. Also is the word help me a subtitle, a verbal declaration, or all encompassing statement? The lack of any explanation leads me to believe that you simply did not want this to be taken seriously but rather in a light hearted manner simply for pleasure. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" />
