Once again, my impatience to finally submit a pic I'm excited about results in the inevitable, violent downfall of my inbox...>.>;;Omg, Lin did a BACKGROUND!!
(........well, kinda. XD)(Gah, my scanner warped the colors a little. ><;;; And yes, I know that Greed's arm is proportionally off, compared to his legs. T3T I'm really pleased with his boot though. ^_^)
Anyhow, this pic was originally supposed to be a tiny portion of a larger colored-pencil poster image. I wasn't very happy with how the larger poster was going, so I kinda scrapped the idea, mid-project. I REALLY loved the idea behind this mini-image on it, though, so I decided to "pull" it and give it it's own poster, in marker this time. ^_^
I also decided to leave Doro's expression a little ambiguous-- I'm leaving it up to you guys to determine what Doro's feeling here. ^^ Apprehension? Fear? Curiosity? Maybe he's hopeful? Who knows?

Media: mechanical pencil, Prismacolor marker, a little bit of acrylic paint for when I accidentally marker-swiped Greed's arm.

hahahaha!!! XD That happens to me often I have to redraw stuff many times! hahahaha specially expressions but I could never get such a moving and cool expression! Oh well I will keep practicing and working thats the best way to get something! XD Once again awesome job!

Ooh! (markers or pencils?) I can't remember which set I've got, I think it's the 96 set...
And I rarely do! I'll usually have an idea of what I want it to look like, but it almost never ends up like it!

XD I have both 24 markers.. and about 150 colored pencils *shot* I hardly use my colored pencils, which makes me think my parents wasted their money! O_O
XDD I'll say, "yeah, that blue smug on his face is SUPPOSED to be there" XDDD Most of my sketch book is a bunch of ideas that I never finished. Rarely do I have something I love.. And no, its not embarassing to silently yell at your sketchbook.. I yell at mine all the time in public *maybe thats why people think I'm creepy!* XD

Sounds like me! *lol* Just last night, I fished out one of my first Saiyuki doodles --I did it before Connecticon. XD Which was in July '06-- and worked on making it into a 9x12 miniposter. ^___^ It'll be really cute if I can get it done! (I also started another one that just has Son Goku, but also shows his demon form . :3 It was fun to draw a character looking just plain psychotic for once! *lol*)

Well, as of recent, I've been the same way! I've been using my markers ever since I got the things. XD I'm hooked now!

That first sentence sounded almost identical to what my sister would have said! O_O Yeah, I'm a marker addict too. Try having to babysit and realizing you wanted to color something.. Then having to use crayola crayons O_O Its not healthy, and I do not recommend it.
XD I have school stuff too.. But I still don't like to do it.
XDDDD Yeah, red works out easily. If I would have gotten a pine green marker mark on my character's arm, I would have said something like.
Me: You see, I was coloring.. and a MASSIVE tornado came out of nowhere! It took the marker right out of my hand and flying across the paper! It was madness! I couldn't stop it. Lucky, it only colored on his arm.. The other half of the picture was safe from its wrath.

(oddly enough, I think some professional animators use crayons for things like backgrounds. 
Well, my current "school stuff" is my Saiyuki series, and that Projectile Society commission, so it's not really agonizing. XD .....well, then there's the Statistics homework. ._.; THAT sucks.

Dude, Those animators better use something better then crayola, otherwise they are totally getting ripped off! Crayola= Crapola in my eyes. XD Well, ballpoint pens are fun, same with notepads, the only bad part is, if you draw something awesome you can't necessarily scan the notebook paper!
I wish my school-stuff was that! O_O I have to make sure not to fail my math class! *sighs* But that is the price I pay for being.. Smart?

Nah, usually what I did was grabbed a pencil that I thought was the one I needed, then lifted my sunglasses and looked at it. (Er, "squinted", I should say. XD Ahh, the joys of having horrid eyesight. X_x)

NOPE. XD All of my bobbles & maquettes are made with Crayola 'Model Magic' clay.

1. Didn't need to be oven-/kiln-baked. (air-dries)
2. Was pretty easy to mold. (not messy)
3. Was lightweight. (cheap to ship. XD)
4. Was inexpensive. (A 6-packet tub --which will last me for about 8 months-- for $16? Not bad!)
*gigglesnort* One of my "cosplay character-choosing criteria" is that I have to be able to wear my glasses (or prescription sunglasses, in Greed's case) without looking terribly out-of-character.
(In the case of both of them, I just switch out my prescription glasses for the circle-sunglasses/monacle if someone wants a photo. ^_^)
This in-character thing is also a small part of the reason that I haven't dressed as Priss or Envy in over a year.

Yep! In the anime, they made them so fierce-looking in the cages, and that just didn't seem realistic to me. I figured that if they'd been in those cells all those years (7 years, I think that's what Marta said), that they'd probably be feeling more hopeless....plus it gave me an excuse to draw Doro all cute-lookin'. ^w^ *tailwag*

I know!! The second one on this pic was a tiny medium grey streak on one of the prison bars, so I was able to hide it pretty well... Greed's though, was a big olive green streak on his ARM.

Actually, just in one shot. ^^ The other is when he's on the operating (?) table, when Marta busts in and tries to save him. They have something strategically placed (I can't remember if it's a doctor/alchemist or if it's some piece of equipment in the way) so that you can't see anything. >3<; DAMN.
