My giftart for yuletart!

The person for whom it was for said she loved 12 Kingdoms and all things En. As soon as she said that, I absolutely knew that I must draw these two. I love the dynamics between them and they are by far my favorite characters.

This was my first time doing something all in black and it was really hard to make the picture balance out. I really love the way the back wall came out (inspired by a chinese garden picture) and for the most part pleased with the entire thing.

My poor brush pen took the brunt of inking all of this but surprisingly its still somewhat alive.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, I highly recommend this series. Not only is the setting incredibly unique but the characters and stories are also a nice change from typical anime series.
