Hi everyone~!
So one of my art teachers brought in his set of rapidographs for me and my buddie to use. Holy crap I need a set of these now, its hard to describe how cool the feeling was to work with them!
I sketched Raven from The New Teen Titans comic and inked it with them. It was my first time using pens like these so my inking isn't the best, all of it was inked with rapidographs except for the black inside the cape which was inked with my micron brush pen but the black under the hood was with the rapidographs. I need to put up more comic related fanart because I have a HUGE~ love for comic books.
Here's a little fun fact: The ink I used to ink this from the rapidographs is older than myself!

Sketched with a Sakura127 mechanical pencil, inked mainly with rapidographs but also with a mircon brush pen, scanned and levels slightly adjusted in Photoshop CS6

Hey there Link-Pikachu! Good work with the Rapidograph! Matt uses Staedtler pigment liners, which are kind of similar to the Rapdiographs, but not refillable. John uses a pen and nib and India ink. Have you ever tried those?
As far as a critique goes, we think this is a very good picture. Your pen strokes are very short though, which gives your line work kind of a rough look. Try using longer pen strokes to give your lines a smoother, less sketchy look.
It's obvious you have talent! Keep on truckin'!

A Rapidograph is a type of pen. It is refillable and gives a line of consistent width, usually .1, .3, and .5mm in size. They are very nice pens, but are moderately expensive and require quite a bit more care than a disposable pen. Hope this helps!
