Yeah but having the critique option is not guaranteed to give a critique.
It's from my personal experience, but the time were people gave artistic feedback on Deviantart is long gone. Some people even get mad when you try to share your thoughts, so people don't do it as often.
Nowadays I ask directly to other artist friends for their thoughts and critique, but ultimately is up to you decide.

I am trying to move to tumblr but the pictures there gets resized and look bad or blurry. it's difficult to find an alternative art community like DA

Not everyone is a Pro on the site if you browse enough, in fact you need a premium membership to browse the premium arts easier.
there's a lot of people that only have accounts to see other artist, I've seen that among my followers very few are artist themselves.

I was having troubles trying to decide the color of the room at first, because everything looked a bit bright for the intimate scene I was going for, but it came out nicely at the end
