Description
March of the March of the Monsters (1/3)Well, since it's March, I figured I might as well submit the March of the Monsters monster sprites I made three years ago.
The problem is, with King Caesar, I didn't update it enough other than a few superficial changes. I wanted to change it enough to where it was definitely different than the last one. Tonight, I finally got the texture to look like his golem-esque skin.

i like the texturing on him alot, especially on the furry bits. I would say maybe make his stone parts more..."sharp" as far as the colors go, to make the rivets more distinct and stuff. Overall pretty good though!

This one's really badass, there's a small minor nitpick, those arms raised, that isn' King Caesar that's more godzilla like than anything, he should have his arms at his side, ready to punch the living fuck out of every other giant monster he sees

Alot better than your previous ones.
Although if I may critique - You might want to use a lighter color for the outline of the nostrils. It makes it look like a huge dark spot on the face and makes it look weird unless you're looking extremely close up at it.

I typically don't like the godzilla-cosplay sprites too much but I'm diggin this cause he looks especially different. Best Caeser sprite In my onion

Truth be told...I didn't like it either.
Back when I started, I didn't think I would take-off with the Spriting Thing. But then I got this idea that...what if I slightly recolored a Godzilla sprite...and that's how my first BurningGodzilla Sprite happened.
Then I searched around and discovered that...I wasn't the only guy to think of this. From that point on, we were doing sprites. Most of the stuff we did was - as you put it - Godzilla cosplay sprites. But after a while, I figured people would get bored of that...So I've tried to push away from it. Still helps to use Goji as a base though.

I guess to me they sometimes look too similar to Godzilla when it's a different kaiju altogether, I agree him as a base is good especially when you want it to match into the daikessen brand, you're welcome!
